Francesco Fatone<\/strong> is a Full Professor of Chemical-Environmental Engineering at the Marche Polytechnic University<\/strong> and Coordinator of the WWEELab (Water Waste Energy Environment Laboratory)<\/strong> research laboratory.<\/p>

Recognized as an IWA Fellow<\/strong> and Water Europe Ambassador<\/strong>, he is among the leading international figures in the fields of circular economy<\/strong>, bioeconomy<\/strong>, and the sustainable management of water and energy resources<\/strong>.<\/p>

His scientific activity focuses on the development of advanced environmental technologies<\/strong>, the optimization of wastewater treatment<\/strong> processes, nutrient and energy recovery<\/strong>, and the design of circular solutions for the industrial-water sector<\/strong>.<\/p>

He is coordinator and partner of numerous European Horizon and LIFE projects<\/strong>, author of over 300 international scientific publications<\/strong>, and invited speaker at prestigious conferences worldwide.<\/p>

Anna Laura Eusebi<\/strong> is an Associate Professor of Sanitary and Environmental Engineering<\/strong> at the Marche Polytechnic University<\/strong> and holds the role of Technical Director of the WWEELab (Water Waste Energy Environment Laboratory)<\/strong>.<\/p>

Her research focuses on the development and optimization of innovative technologies for wastewater treatment<\/strong>, resource recovery and reuse<\/strong>, and the application of circular and sustainable solutions<\/strong> in the water and environmental sector.<\/p>

She is involved as a scientific lead and partner in numerous European Horizon and LIFE projects<\/strong>, with a particular focus on the validation of processes at pilot and industrial scales.<\/p>

She is the author of over 100 international scientific publications<\/strong> with more than 2,000 citations<\/strong>, testifying to the relevance and impact of her work in the scientific community.<\/p>

Massimiliano Sgroi is an Associate Professor<\/strong> of Sanitary and Environmental Engineering at the Marche Polytechnic University.<\/strong><\/p>

He earned his PhD in Environmental Engineering from the University of Catania<\/strong> and was a Visiting Scholar at the University of Arizona<\/strong> | BIO5 Institute (USA), gaining solid international experience in the water and wastewater treatment sector.<\/p>

He is the author of 37<\/strong> scientific publications indexed in SCOPUS<\/strong>, with over 2,800<\/strong> citations and an H-index of 22, testifying to a globally recognized scientific impact.<\/strong><\/p>

His research activity lies at the intersection of water treatment and reuse<\/strong>, resource recovery from waste, energy, environmental assessment, and the removal of emerging contaminants, with a particular focus on PFAS<\/strong>. He is actively involved in numerous European research projects, including AquaSPICE<\/strong>, ULTIMATE<\/strong>, PROMISCES<\/strong>, DWC<\/strong>, SEACURE<\/strong>, and WATERUN.<\/strong> <\/p>

He has developed advanced skills in the use of digital systems for water quality monitoring, the development of spectroscopic parameters for real-time control of micropollutants, and risk assessment in the water sector, contributing to the development of innovative solutions for sustainable and safe water resource management.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
